I was driving in the rain the other day and my wipers "overheated". It stoped raining for a few seconds, and they were on at the time, and they just died in the middle of my windshield. They work OK (besides they are slow as hell) when it is raining pretty steady, but the second the windshield gets half dry they die and won't work for a few minutes. I checked on a new motor at the parts store, and it is $49 for a "3-prong" and $56 for a "4-prong". The truck is a '72 Chevy C10. How do i get to the motor to see how many prongs it has, and how big of a pain is it gonna be to switch them out? Is there anything else besides the motor that could cause this?

My Daily-Driver: '72 Chevy LWB Custom/10. Rebuilt 350, roughly 300 HP thanks to a mild cam, Edelbrock intake and carb, headers, and 40 seires Flowmaster mufflers. Ochre with a white top. Plans as of now include a bigger cam, lower gears, and lots of body work.
