You won't be able to use your bolt on yoke without the bolt because it will leak unless you plug it somehow, but you can use a regular slip yoke in it's place. Also there's an o-ring up inside on the output shaft you will have to remove to allow it to slip. You could possibly shorten your existing driveshaft depending on it's construction, I have done this a few times.Take it to a driveshaft shop and let them check to see if they can do it.
