Re: Not able to finish truck, should I part out or sell as is? Please don't delete post

Well, that's what I was wondering about? Nothing's new. It's a 71, short step. All the original frame pieces, that I haven't thrown away, are in great shape! I was going to blast and prime/paint the frame, x-member, panhard bar, control arms and trailing arms. Was going to buy urethane bushings for the rear arms, panhard bar and cab. Completely rebuild the front end, including a lowered sway bar from ECE and also buy a rear sway bar. Buy new calipers and rotors for the front end, but leave the rear with nothing, in case someone wanted to add disc to the rear later on. Adding a Blazer tank in the rear. Was going to drop the front with 2.5" spindles, replace stock height front springs and add 4" rear drop springs, along with new shocks all around. Mount the cab back to the frame and blast and prime it, with urethane primer. Welding in 2 new outer/inner rocker panels and one cab corner. Shave the hole where the factory gas tank was, as well as thinking about smoothing the firewall. Thinking about buying new wood for the bed and SS strips. Was going to buy new core support, V8 conversion kit and 350th auto x-member. Then, all someone would have to do is add engine, tranny, new gears and whatever color they wanted to paint it. If I were to do that, would it bring anything close to what all those parts cost? And I would just miss out on the 1500 I've already wasted? I can provide pic or what everything looks like now, if needed?
