77 is gonna get pulled apart as I have time this winter -- Gonna be getting a new rust free cab and front clip, along with the box's rust repaired. Probally won't get a whole lot of re-assembly done, but I feel its worth fixing it up a bit so the new owner can make it nice with relatively little effort. With regards to drivetrain, I sold the 350 that is in it, and will be putting a bone stock TBI 350 in. It already has the electronics, and while it runs now, it definitely needs a lot of tuning to run well, and it is easier to just replace the engine. 700r4 will be stored away, as it is a heck of a good tranny, and it's original TH350 will go back in.

80 will get a set of new fenders, inner and out, a set of shocks, get the fuel fill finished, bolt the box down, and replace the cab corners. It'll then be dropped off at a bodyshop for them to make the body perfectly straight, and deliver it finished off and painted, as soon as cash allows of course.

96 will be my DD for the next few years, possibly put a 5.3 in to replace the 4.3 someday, but there isn't much to change otherwise. Once I'm done with the 80, I don't think I'll do a whole lot more major work, maybe a lift kit, but nothing more, so I think that the light at the end of the tunnel is pretty visible now

Here is a pic of the girls all lined up -- They all drove there under their own power too! lol

sounds like you got a good plan worked out and hopefully the sale of the 77 will help fund the body and paint on the 80. Btw are you going for the stock colors when you do get it redone ?

Good luck with it
