My project truck is a short fleet with a steel floor. I just bought a couple long fleet beds with the wood floor. I know I can use the head gate from the long beds, but are the cross members from the long beds useable to build a short bed?

Next, are the front inner fenders the same on a 67-68 ans they would be on a 72?
