Had the BOYs out front this weekend, getting the 79K20 donor vehicle ready for my sons shop class.
I was given this truck back in May and never really looked in it, engine was covered with some sludge. Here's what I found under the hood:
* Carter AFB - Competition Series Carb # 9F35SA 2633
* Edelbrock Classic Valve Covers
* Edelbrock old school intake manifold - No cast name of model. Just say's Edelbrock.
I can't wait to see whats inside!! Haven't run numbers off engine or heads yet - kinda the kids' project. I thought it was a simple 350 but, ya dont throw $150 V/C's on a stocker landscape truck - usually.
Next, a question. Anyone have a link where I can find out more about this Carter AFB carb?? Like model & CFM etc.
Would appreciate any help.
