I'm in a similar situation with my 'restored' by me 71 blazer, it sits in the garage until the time is right and we take it out for a spin.
Gotta say though, when the garage door opens to a sweet shiny ride sittin' there waiting to go it's like xmas all over agian!
Keep it special but yeah, drive it.
