Hey man sorry this happened to you but sometimes the community we live in has diffrent standards than our own. City hall should have copies of the ordinances. You can see what modifications you might need to make to be able to keep the parts but out of the site of the others in your neighborhood.

At least you are trying to get the parts to sell to others instead of junking them.
