well with how it is and has been going in regards to vehicles and the parts- the fact that the city and most people locally and on this forum seem to be against what i am and have been doing in in th last few years- whether it be because of the addiction of it or for a small way of trying to keep afloat and survive while laid off from the plant- i really truly need ot refrain and resist from adopting any more parts worthy/junk vehicles unless i ever am in a position where i could have a place out of city limits to do this type of thing and also be able to have a project vehicle or two. even a project vehicle breaks rules of zoning ordinance, we cant win on this type of thing,
this is all in regards to trying to myself attempting to salveage good reuseable parts, instead of watching them go straight to local towing yards(in which whom dont have salveage licenses to be able to legally sell parts off the vehicles) and then watch them being taken to scrap/shredder yard after being smashed down by bulldozer,.,
with way things are, there is no real way for little guy to try and help the hobby by trying to take on vehicles destined for scrap in order to salveage anything off them either fo ruse by them or by others in same hobby and interest.
im not sure why CPNE and DR- and others who have quit parts- have quit, but probably maybe related ot these types of problems, and/or due to too much of a hassle, for lack of better terms/explanation. i hope to be the next person to quit, i really do and need to, its not worth it, just isnt, wil hate to see what gets wasted that i wont be able to do anything about because no ne else around here in this immediate region will take the time to care about what gets wasted off of vehicles.
its really becoming not worth the required trouble and effort to keep trying to save everyhing that would otherwise just go to scrap heaven,
some of you may understand and i know for a fact others here dont understand and may never and are one sided on this issue, unfortunately, being close minded is a bad thing
all i can do now is make myself stop taking in any more parts vehicles and sell or scrap what i have left.
this is all i can think of to say right now-with what and how things are happening currently- that wil be in positive form
