Hey '69, chances are you have exactly what you think you have. But just in case, the 205 case has a metal plate screwed into the case just below the shift rails on the front side of the case, that plate should say on the left hand side Model 205...if it does, it's a 205. Checkout some of the websites if your plate is missing.
As for the axles, both will have a number stamped into the axle housing, I think on the upper right hand side.......the stamp will be "44" and "60" for a Dana 44 and Dana 60 respectively. I could be wrong about the location.....its been awhile since I cleaned mine off.
