My th400 was hooked up originally to a 402 I used same conv with a sb 327 could this cause shift problems? IE....Slam 2nd gear? curiuos any input greatfully accepted thanks in advance.

68 c20 in progress 327 TH400 tach dash Disc Brakes and soon 3.90 rear gears.. have many new parts now just need the time..... Sound Familar
