Well I finally got under there and had a look. That flange looks dry. Here is a pic. However the 1/2 bolts and the first 2 3/8 were very loose. I snugged them up and cleaned up the area. Going to keep a eye on it. Also lesson learned tonight is that IF i have to swap out a oil pan gasket or a seal that engine is coming out
