I read this story awhile back...
Some guy is driving along and sees flames shoot out of somebody's hotrod, flags him down, and screams that he's on fire. Said driver calmly gets out, pops the hood, takes his pocket knife AND SLITS THE RADIATOR HOSE.
The steaming spray extinguishes the flame, and the guy is only out a replaceable hose.
I thought that was a heckuvan idea, maybe it'll save somebody's ride in the middle of nowhere without a fire extinguisher.
