There are aftermarket kits for mounting the TV cable, most parts stores that sell the "Performance Corner" stuff has them. I made my own brackets when I changed to the 700 trannies. The IMPORTANT thing to deal with is the positioning of the cable so that it is fully closed when the throttle is closed and that it extends fully when the throttle is full open. I took some light metal and made a bracket that would hold the throttle cable on top and then made a piece for the TV cable to weld on the bottom. I set it up on a trial and error test until I had the right spot and then welded it solid. My bracket mounts on the driver's side rear carb mount bolt and has a pin welded to it to fit into the other hole on the carb base (this keeps the bracket from moving on the carb base). Once I had then finished and smoothed, I had them powder coated.
