Do not have the old tranny, but I am going to have a look at the gear and speedo cable when I can. I suspect to find a problem very expensive to fix, which seems to be what I find whenever I look at anything.
Now, how does this citation thing work? Do they care that my speedo was off? Am I better just paying the thing and not trying to argue that my truck is a POS?
