Jeff, about half of the trucks I have parted out had shorted or dryrotted harnesses running back to the tailights. With that thought in mind, could the burb harness running back thru the roof also be on the verge?? I might just splice into the replacement dash harness you put in or I would run a real good truck 4 wire back the same way the trucks do and then have it enter the rear portion of the burb tub using all sorts of rubber silicon to minimize shorting. At least this way, should you have a problem in the future, you can see it and probably splice/repair it easier and quicker. Just my .02~~Huck
