Hi Jeff, the connection is there. I am 99% sure it is the same plug-in for the trucks and burbs. It will be somewhere near your wiper motor since that is where the truck's connect to the tail light harness.
If I had to splice something, I guess I would rather splice the tail light wires than the ignition switch wires. Unless you are good at soldering the connections and use shrink tube to cover it. Anything else will just cause you greater headaches down the road.
