I appreciate the technology that gives us the safety equipment intended to protect us in the event of a colision. However, I strongly resent the use of said safety equipment being made mandatory. For the life of me I cannot understand how riding a bicycle or motorcycle without a helmet is less dangerous than driving a car without a seatbelt. I know not all states have the same helmet laws and I don't have anything against any of you bikers but where is the logic in that law?
