Looks like you figured it out before me! I was just getting ready to post up the math. One thing I recognized is that a 8.5" wheel is truly 9.5" wide... therefore has a center-line of 4.75". That would make it closer to a 5.5" backspacing. It does look like I may have posted 'erroneous' info!

I do know that they have an 18mm offset!!!!
