Before you do anything, I would do the "relay" mod on your headlights if you haven't already. There is a writeup about this in the FAQ section. Headlights will never be dim again, and it might fix your problem.

Otherwise, might wanna test your battery first. Then check your voltage regulator, then have the alternator tested. You can have the alternator and the battery tested free at your local auto parts chain store.
