if it makes you feel better, i paid 2500 for my 69 lwb. it has two rust holes, one cab corner, and one bed wheel well. good running 283/t400 w/ about 35k on it.
I'd say $1500 is a good deal, especially if you're a body guy and can fix the minor problems it has.
