Easiest way to check for a 292 is the passenger side motor mount. On the 292 the passenger mount not opposite the driver's side, it's one cylinder forward. If the mounts are opposite, it's a 250, 230 or 194.
As for the rest of the truck, the seats might be the most valuable parts.
