BUT LONGHORN EVER SENCE 1967 I HAVE NOT SEEN THE 3RD MEMBER ON ANY OF THE TRUCK AFTER 1967 IN THE 3/4 TON I READ SOME WHERE THEY WANTED TO GO TO THE OTHER REAR END DUE TO WHEN THEY HAD TO DO BRAKES ON THE 1960---1967 YOU HAD TO PULL THE AXLES OUT INSTEAD OF TAKING THE 8 LUG NUTS OFF AND TAKE THE 2 SCREWS OUT AND BANG ON DRUM AND IT SLIDE RIGHT OFF
nOW HERE IN CALIF MOST GUYS WANT THE 3/4 TRUCKS DUE TO THEY HAVE THE BETTER CABS CUS MOST OF THE TIME THEY WHERE STRICKLY USED FOR WORK NOT HORSEING AROUND
