my bags are slam specialties and they are mounted to sit right in the lower control arm with no cups. There is a plate on the top. I.F customs does alot of that kind of placement for the bags, not the best way for them but hey.
If its a drop spindle i see that you said they put it on there as an identifier but i cant see that happeneing. Like would belltech put gm on there spindles if there shipping a spindle to a gm truck. Or would djm put ford on there spindle if its going on a ford truck..
It has gm written in 2 spots on the back and then a serial number as well.
