drain antifreeze
pull radiator
remove fan assy
disconnect all hoses
disconnect battery
remove carb linkage
remove carb... install lift plate
disconnect all wiring hei, starter, etc
disconnect alt bracket and swing to the left lower inner fender
remove bellhousing bolts
remove flex plate bolts
slide converter all the way back inside trans.
support trans with jack
remove engine mount bolts
connect lift to lift plate on intake [ pull it out]
