If you don't want to go thru the work of controlling it electrically, put a checkball in the lockup solenoid. I forget the size needed, any trans. shop should have one. You just have to drop the pan, pull out the control solenoid & put the ball on top of it. It will act a little differently than when controlled by the OEM setup. You will have lockup right as it goes into 3rd. And 4th, of course.
