Re: What Did You Get Done? 1/21 Where's N2TRUX? Edition

Been busy making the interior of my GMC a bit nicer, using some vinyl paint to die it black, what I've finished so far looks pretty slick. I bought an extra can to keep around incase it starts peeling, or gets scratched or something.

Gotta re-do the fuel fill I just finished off last week. Went to put gas in it, and quickly discovered that I put the filler hole way too low, so the fuel spills right back out after being poured in, doh! Gonna go with a round door this time though, I used a stock square door last time, and though I measured many times, and made 100% sure it was square with the bodyline, it still looked crooked due to the fenderwell's rear opening, and the bottom of the box side's angles.

Finally, drug home an 84 K5, which will be used as a 4x4 donor for the stepside, and will get the stepside's old 2wd suspension. Probally re-sell it shortly afterwards, and will use the 77 as an off-roading rig.

I know, some of you are digusted with the idea of it, but the 77's body is in terrible shape, and I just robbed it of it's nice dash pad to put into my 80, so the interior is nothing special either. I'll probally take the step box off so it doesn't get mashed up, as while it is rusty, it is still fixable unlike the rest of the truck.

The 84 will be sold as a 2wd, after making the interior a bit nicer, cleaning it up a bunch, and finding a door to replace the bright white and blue one so the rig will be all the same colors (two tone brown)

80 is being parked in the big shop after I finish painting the interior and fuel fill until I've collected the parts for the cam / head swap. Then I'll have a few nuts and bolts to tighten, and a seal to fix on the 205, and be left with only bodywork to do, which I'll do this next summer when it is a bit warmer out.
