yeah, i noticed that this weekend with all the rain. prolly not the best idea...
but how about upholstered panels sized to fit in the "recess" areas between the ribs. sort of like a truck headliner, but inserted only between the "ribs." I guess it'd bee even harder to find an adhesive that kept it in place, but could be removed without damaging the fiberglass...
hmm, maybe i should just turn my brain off (or on, as ithe case may be...)
