the main reason for the conversion is room. my 70' chevy is too small, i am 6' 6" and the blazer will allow me to move the seat further back. plus i have no need for 4wd with a tow rig. stepping up sucks also as i am feeling my age. nice to have dry tool storage also. i would much rather have a new extended cab truck but that is out of my current budget and besides i really like the looks of the 70'
