what are you after? good, crisp, mids and hi's need to be faceing somewhat in the direstion you are ( i.e. angled up towards ya) that wont be accomplished by cutting a hole and facing them towards your feet... also if your going with a componet set up (5 1/4 w/ tweeter and crossover) i dont think that'll sound as good as it potentially should...
