Hey, sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. This morning was very busy.
I've seen a lot of different weights quoted for our trucks. 4000 is on the upper end of the range of weights that I've "heard". I tend to think that the SWB trucks weigh around 3400-3500 while the LWB trucks weigh 3600-3800 plus the driver. But then again, I've never actually weighed one.
Anyone else out there know for sure?
I'll also need to know the tire diameter, as this is part of the effective gear ratio formula. The width that you gave me is fine. That's a component of the dynamic coefficient of friction.
Everything else is there. I'll give you calculations on both ends of the weight range and times.
I don't know how to attach the DD2000 file, or any others, to a PM. Hopw about if I go out on a limb and let you just e-mail me the file?
truckstr@iwon.com (now, watch 'em come out of the proverbial woodwork with requests from people to run their files

).
See ya,
Jeff
