I don't remember what the spacer was(short or tall) on the 402 in my 72' Burb but I know for certain that it's all original... Here's a shot of the aircleaner anyway. I remember the 454 that was in my 76' had a SHORT spacer on it. As far as the correct spacer for the 68-72, I can take a pic of it sometime this weekend if nobody else beats me to it...

Oh, BTW, Yes, that 402 does run! Truck sat for 12+ years before I found it. Body is trashed but a ton of good parts left on it...
