What about the light socket in relation with the bucket? Were the two already conjoined when you bought them or are we talking used parts here? I know mine, rust got in betwen the socket and light bucket (inside that tiny lip) and it wouldn't ground. SO I got pliers and rotated it free, and BOOM! bright light.
