Re: front spring lift ?

my friend has a 1961 scout, he welded new spring mounts farther to the rear of his frame. he used toyota or nissan springs, im not sure exactly. he got a much better ride and more wheel travel. with new spring mounts up front i suppose i have several spring options. as long as i am close i can adjust.

"A 1 ton blazer?? I need to see pics of that. Is is a blazer tub on a 1T frame?"

yeah i have a 8 lug 14bolt rear, and a 10 bolt front from a late 70's 3/4 ton 4x4. i dont want blocks in the front, i have access to any size structural steel shapes i need so i guess ill work it out somehow. the lift issue has held me up for more than a year now. ill start posting pics when i start cutting the old hangers off.
