Just because I think it's cool, here's some more pix.
This was an ebay truck from a year or so ago. GMC 4x4, & a super-CLEAN original. Don't remember what it sold for.
Looks like this truck was NEVER worked out of I'd say, regardless of the vise being there, because those rear sidemarker lights would probably have been long-gone, having been mounted out there in the open, and subject to getting "crunched-off."
My '76 Silverado 4x4 utility-bed got the livin' crap beat out of it while we were working out of it every day, but it was a full-bed Koenig-brand utility body.
These utility bedside boxes were a dealer add-on that probably all dealers had access to.
Sure like to find some of those take-off original stepside rear fenders laying around in a dealer's dusty old rafters...............
