Re: no heater
Well I tell you what, I didn't have a working heater in my Blazer for two years. I finally fixed it a little over a month ago and I am SO much happier!
You could convert it to the A/C style heater box, the core is inside the passenger compartment instead of outside. It wouldn't completely remove everything from the fire wall but you could get a lot closer I bet.
