I have a 69. My gas tank is out and the bench is gone. Buckets are coming.

I'll be mounting the 12" subs and the amp in the back where the tank was. I hope to mount two pairs of coaxial woofers (one 5-1/4" and one 6") both in the custom made kick panels and a pair of tweeters where the A-pillars meet the dash pad. Head unit will go in the traditional place with an MP3 player either in the center or an overhead console.

I chose not to put any woofers in the doors (though there's plenty of room) because the occupants' legs are directly in the sound path.

I'm also planning to double up on the square feet of sound deadning materials used.
