You sound like you made a good deal, and thats all that matters. Let no one take that away. I and Im sure others can see a "finished" project in what others cant. I agree keep the progress pics comming !
For what it is worth, I have always liked the old "burbs., and yea it will take some, ok ok lots of work, but thats the fun of it , the before and after .
