Re: My dream house

I live a short drive from this place. It was featured in Hemmings a while back. Unfortunately, all of the vehicles the guy has have been sitting for YEARS in the tall grass and raspberry bushes, so you can pretty much assume the bodies are junk, and the only good parts on the cars are going to be maybe engines, trim, interior in some cases, and the parts shown in the house, and probably 5 school busses he has stashed around the property filled with various stuff. There are some cool cars as he eludes to in his ad, but there is also a lot of junk there that nobody would really want; i.e. 70's Laguna, late 70's Novas, Maverick, Grand Prix's.....stuff like that. The place is a toxic waste dump, and whoever buys the place is going to have to pay for cleanup; hence why its been for sale for YEARS without a buyer. The last time I walked through the property was back in 1998, I was looking for a shortbox fleetside bed for my '69 CST/10. He had a whole '71 from texas with on interior, no drivetrain except a rear end, I believe it was hit hard in the front, and he wanted $2,500 for the bed. I was greeted by one of his german shepherds which abruptly took hold of my pant leg until he called the dog off, so if you think you're going to sneak in and swipe some parts....think again.
