What you can do is cut the section of fenderwell out that the hinge bolts to..mount that to the firewall, and then brace up to the mounting point. OR, if you don't want to cut the fenderwells...just make a template out of them. Should be pretty easy to do....especially without fenderwells, you have all that space from under to access for hood alignment/fabrication.
