Explain rough. Was it rough at idle, part throttle, or WOT (wide open throttle) or better yet, all three? Check all your vacuum lines, change fuel filter, if equipped with points check the dwell and maybe even just replace points and condensor. Cap, rotor, wires, and plugs would help but I would probably just check the dwell first and that wouldn't cost anything. You don't really need a meter to check dwell, just mess with it by ear but if you use a meter it should be anywhere from 30 degrees to 34 degrees. Let me know if you need help and I can stop by after work sometime, I work off Bulverde and 1604.
