Using that late model dash bezel would be awesome. You could use an GM installation kit for a DIN radio to come out with a very professional look. .

I too would like to know if the metal dash shell is different or if it's just that section where the radio is that is different. If the late model dash bezel itself will match up and the metal behind it for the radio opening can be modified, I would be willing to do that.

Sucks about the radio. If the dash shell isnt seriously bent, you may be able to get away with cutting out the radio section and riveting a new piece of sheet metal in along with replacing the dash bezel which I assume the thief also broke. Changing out the entire dash shell would be a real chore so personally I would opt to repair it if possible. Got any pics of the damage ?
