The other day i was wondering if the gas gauge worked so i took a flash light and shined it down in the tank. There seems to be alot of rust down in the tank and some in the tube. Is this common for a 1970? It really seems like alot down in the bottom. I had a 71 some years back and i dont remember it having any rust in the tank.
