I used a Tune Trapper antenna that I bought on Ebay. It requires no ground to the metal body and they work GREAT! I have one in each of my trucks. I mounted them on the cardboard protector for the gas tank in the cab....just below the level of the seatback. They are hidden and they really do work well. I kept my stock antenna for the stock AM radio in the dash of both trucks. The Tune Trapper antennas are for the hiddedn stereo systmes I have in both trucks.
