You can't use lowering blocks, assuming that is what you mean by "blocking it," unless you do a flip kit. The axles is mounted under the rear axle, so blocks will lift it rather than lower it.
The flip will get you 5 or 6 inches by itself, so you probably would not need blocks
and hangers with it. Maybe just a flip, and blocks if you need to go lower?
