well i know the 2wd frame doesnt sit as high infront as a 4x4. So the 4x4 a little higher to make room for the axel. I was thinking to do the same but it was found that the body swap was much easier.

I was going to do the body swap but after time i just thought it was even more easy to leave the truck 2wd. heres a thread i started here some time ago so you might use it as refrence if you wise. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...17#post2007117

1965 shortbed fleet great granddads. Been told im nuts to bring it back from the dead (still going to happen) plans-all stock with a turbo 292 inline 3 speed column shift. and thats it

big block 427 and 5 speed trans and ford 9 inch theyhave no home yet thinking what to put them in

and a 79 c60 trash truck um no idea i have one
