I was surprising calm the entire time. His car (early 90's pontiac bonneville) took the brunt of the impact. It bent the hood up and broke a headlight, not much else. His bumper was actually below mine. I was actually getting back into the gas after I hit the brakes, and that's when I was hit.
I don't know how many times I've said this before, but I HATE TAILGATERS. This could all have been avoided if the fella behind me wasn't tailgating, especially since it had been sprinking all morning and everything was wet.
This is my first accident in 10 years. Hope it's my last for a long time!
