I got this idea from a picture on IF CUSTOMS.COM they did on a 66 suburban.I'll post the pictures when I'm done.

Cool, I've got my 1.5" sectioned crossmember at my buddy's shop being painted and just trying to look at all my options before installing and having to run down possible issues. Thanks!
