alright, got an idea in my head that i'm trying to decide on.
right now i have a lower-mid end headunit in the truck along with some qlogic kickpanels and some decent component 6.5" speakers. the rear speakers are gone and the ones in the dash are busted as hell.
i drive the truck MAYBE 3000 miles a year(yes i know, its sad but what can ya do with gas and a baby)
i'm thinking of removing all the stereo equipment and not having a radio or any audio in the truck. when i do drive it, most of the time i have the radio off and just use it as a clock
and the other half i have to have it turned up so loud to hear it over the exhaust that it starts to distort
i dont care about music while i'm driving it so i figured i could clean up the wiring a little and have room for some extra gauges or something down there
what do you all think about this idear of mine?
