Well I found my VIN number on the frame just where longhornmail said it was. (Actually about an inch in front of his finger). Thanks again for the help.

It did match my VIN plate so there was a big smile on my face. It's hard to track what is original and what's not without that option sticker on the glovebox.

Plowing ahead with the rest of the research...
